The Dallaglio Cycle Slam has raised a total of over £1 million for a variety of charities including the RPA Benevolent Fund

In total, Lawrence spent 26 days on the road, covering 2,888 kms. He was joined by over 250 other volunteer fundraising cyclists and celebrities for some or all of the route, including RPA CEO Damian Hopley, who cycled from Rome to Nice in Stage 1, whilst RPA Head of Player Services, Alex Anderson completed Stage 2, from Nice to Paris.
In partnership with the BBC's Sport Relief campaign, the cycle ride raised £1 million for various charities. The RPA would like to thanks everyone who supported Damian, Alex an the DCS for their generosity. Net proceeds were split equally between Sport Relief and the Dallaglio Foundation, which in turn supported Cancer Research UK, DebRA, Help for Heroes, Leukemia Research and the RPA Benevolent Fund.
The Dallaglio Cycle Slam visited all six national rugby stadiums during the 2010 RBS 6 Nations tournament. Starting in Rome on 12th February, Lawrence and 250 volunteer fundraising cyclists and celebrities cycled to Murrayfield, taking in Paris, Twickenham, Cardiff and Dublin along the way.
