Matt's Blog Day 12: What a game, what an evening!

What a great game! The Lions did everything but win it. They must be absolutely kicking themselves. The atmosphere was electric (again!) And the after party was huge!

We struck gold in the evening - on the advice of some locals, we wandered into a bar only to realize that they had sponsored the polo shirts we were wearing. Having made ourselves known to the manager, a table full of beers on ice appeared and the rest is a bit hazy! On a note of hope for the ailing Lions team, half of the Springboks team were there, evidently celebrating their series victory. Maybe the celebrations will be sufficient to put them off their game next Saturday.
