The 2010 Sunday Times Try of the Year award winner Chris Ashton receives his award

The winner will be announced at the annual RPA Computacenter Rugby Players' Awards Dinner, which will be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Wednesday May 25, starting at 6.30pm.

Last year's winner Chris Ashton will hand his crown over to one of six players and the shortlist includes fellow England international Ugo Monye for his superb try after a great team move in the match against Gloucester on March 26.

The panel opted for Monye's first try of his individual hat-trick and he will be joined by last year's RPA Computacenter Players' Player of the Year Schalk Brits for his effort against Gloucester on April 24.
Welsh fly-half Nicky Robinson also appears on the shortlist for his try against Bath in the West Country derby from the Recreation Ground on October 1 2010.
Other tries on the shortlist include Alesana Tuilagi's third against Gloucester and Bath's South African scrum-half Michael Claassens' try versus Exeter Chiefs as he capitalised on superb work by marauding prop Nathan Catt.

The final try on the shortlist comes from the Aviva Premiership's newcomers Exeter Chiefs in their clash with Northampton Saints on March 6. The try was made in the southern-hemisphere as Nemani Nadolo's offload saw Sireli Naqelevuki scamper across the line as the Chiefs left their opponents for dead.

Voting for the Try of the Year 2011 has now closed - the winner will be announced at the RPA Players' Awards Dinner next Wednesday.
