Former England Captain and British Irish Lion Martin Corry said: "Following the success of last year's England v Ireland Legend match, we are delighted to be returning to the Twickenham Stoop to play the South African Legends. Both sides are taking shape, and already boasting some great names, so it promises to be another great night of rugby and entertainment. Supporters attending the game will be helping support a great rugby cause too, as the players organising committee has nominated the RPA Benevolent Fund one of the benefitting charities for the Legends games this season. The Benevolent Fund is the Players' Charity, supporting current and former rugby players in difficult times, and we are delighted to be able to help our fellow players by donating the proceeds of the game to them."
Damian Hopley, CEO of the RPA said: "We are delighted that the RPA Benevolent Fund has been chosen as one of the benefitting charities of the England v South Africa Legends Game. The Players' Charity is very close to the hearts of the players, and any support we receive makes a huge difference in providing support to players who are most in need. Through the RPA Benevolent Fund, we assist players with essential medical costs and provide a support network which the player can turn to during times of hardship caused by serious injury or illness."
