PRA Chief Executive, Damian Hopley has featured on BBC One sports show Inside Sport, broadcast on Monday 20th April 09
The show, whose stock-in-trade includes in-depth features and behind-the-scenes interviews, focuses on the makings of the modern rugby player, and the potential dangers that players face in this high-impact game.
In an exclusive interview for Inside Sport, Hopley reflects on the physical rigours undergone by today's professional rugby players, and the level of support that is required by retired players as they live with the physical legacy of a professional rugby career.
Hopley points to the importance of continuing to make support and advice available to players throughout and after their rugby careers, and the resources the PRA are fighting for to allow this good work to continue.
